Anne James

Anne has produced a combination of both thrown and hand-built work. She is best known for pieces which are decorated with precious metal lustres fired and smoked with fine sawdust. Her lustred surfaces have a whole range of rich colours which have often been influenced by ancient artefacts, tribal and ethnic fabrics.

Anne is a fellow of the Craft Potters Association and was also awarded Life membership of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen.

Anne passed away in 2025.
