A large stoneware John Dory fish bowl. This piece has been fired with a stoneware white base glaze.  Brushwork decoration has been applied to create the outline of the fish. A third firing of various metal lustres completed the decoration of this bowl.  A painted makers mark can be found between the footring. Further details are available on request.
