A  porcelain bottle with a wide flared rim.  A series of concentric mauve/purple bands of lustre have been applied around the bottle with gold lustre in between. A maker's mark 'M ' has been impressed into the clay near the base. This is an early piece where the gold lustre is beautifully highlighted by the sugary glaze beneath.
