An early  trumpet rimmed vase. Made using a stoneware clay. Iron oxide and cobalt carbonate based pigments have been used to band the pot on both the rim and the main body. This has been allowed to combine with the clear glaze during the firing.  Floral motifs have also been added. A maker's mark (m) has been impressed into the clay near the base. Postage is FREE  within the UK only. Please contact the gallery FIRST for all other destinations. THIS PIECE HAS THREE LINEAR FIRING SPLITS TO THE  BASE and a SMALL INDENTATION TO THE SIDE OF THE POT. These marks have been reflected by the price £45 instead of £95.  It is still a delightful pot! Width 8cms. x HEIGHT 6cms.
