An early  trumpet rimmed vase. Made using a stoneware clay. Throwing ribs have been left on the outside of the neck  which contrasts to the smooth finish on the rest of the piece.  Iron oxide pigments have been used to band the pot on both the rim and the main body. This has been allowed to combine with the clear glaze during the firing.  Floral motifs have also been added. A maker's mark (m) has been impressed into the clay near the base. Postage is FREE  within the UK only. Please contact the gallery FIRST for all other destinations. Additional pieces might also be in stock but may not necessarily be on our web-site. Please  contact the gallery for further details. Height 12.5cms x Width 6.5cms.
