A miniature porcelain pedestal bowl which has been thrown and altered.  It has been glazed with her classic deep blue which contrasts perfectly with the hand painted geometric gold lustre. A subtle band of lilac has also been added to the underneath of the bowl above the footring. The pot has a maker's mark impressed (m) on the footring which has been glazed over. It is countersigned (Mary Rich) underneath in gold lustre.
