A lidded honey jar. These early pieces gradually evolved into teapots. They were scaled down and the bottom half of the jar became more bulbous. Early pieces such as these in mint condition are interesting  to own particulaly if they are being aded to a wider collection of her work. A maker's mark (m) has been  impressed into the clay near the base. a perfect piece for anyone who likes honey or keeps their own bees!
