A miniature porcelain bottle. Vitually unglazed with inlaid and brush banded cobalt oxide slips. A maker's mark M is impressed near the base. This is an early piece which pre-dates her burnished gold work. We have sold work made by Mary for over thirty years and this is the only piece we can remember that has be made in this manner.
