A thrown and cut sided vessel with a cane handle fixed by two ceramic lugs positioned either side. The inside is decorated using a stoneware iron flecked glaze. The eight sided cut facets are decorated using a combination of cut paper resists and a grey /olive waxy glaze with iron brush marks. The piece is further embellished with a green enamel. A makers mark is impressed into one facet and is glazed but clearly visible. The measurements given include the height of the cane handle. Further information is available by request.
