A 1980' slab built stoneware vase decorated using paper resist and  a deep blue enamel. A dark half moon has been added to one side. The interior and top third has been dipped with a rich Tenmoku glaze.  This piece has been constructed with John's characteristic tilt adding additional character to the form.
