A stoneware lidded vessel with a cane handle. This piece is a thrown and cut vessel. It is decorated on six of the eight sides having fragmented details of The Wells Cathedral Cross. Ceramic lugs hold the original cane handle in place. The measurements shown include the cane handle in an upright position. This piece dates to the early 1980s. It has a sprigged and glazed makers mark underneath which is clearly visible.
