A thrown stoneware teapot with the original cane handle. This piece is unused and is in perfect condition. It is decorated with coloured slips and a deep grey/blue enamel.  A painted maker's mark (MALTBY) is signed on the base of the teapot. A speckled tenmoku glaze has been used on the upper part of the teapot with a clear glaze applied on the interior. Other pieces might be in available but currently in storage.
