A wood fired John Leach Pottery jug. Glazed with a Tenmoku  on the interior with it breaking to a characteristic fleck on both the rim and on the top of the handle. The exterior of the jug is unglazed with textured iron flecks surfacing from the clay during the firing.
Stamped Muchelney at base.
