A large/deep stoneware bowl. This piece has a personal impressed JHL makers mark above the Muchelney stamp  as well as a 1990 date carved below. The outside has been decorated using wax resist which has preserved the light Tenmoku glaze in contrast to the glaze applied on top. This substantial pot could be used as a family fruit bowl or as a centre piece to grace a room. John has work on permanent collection at the V&A Museum , London. His work is featured in British Studio Pottery (The Victoria and Albert Museum Collection) by Oliver Watson. Further details are available.
