A stoneware lidded box. Initially dipped in a grey green glaze with a Tenmoku over the exterior. Wax resist has been used to allow a circluar brushed motif to be decorated in the cenral part of the lid. The Brookhouse seal is impressed into one of the four feet but it does not have the DF seal. However, it is definitely a lovely Brookhouse pottery piece!
