A thrown stoneware vessel with a matt glaze over a textured surface. It carries hints of mauve flecks and fawn. A dark manganese/iron oxide matt slip has been applied to the interior achiving a contrast with the outside.  The vessel is  stamped with a maker's seal  underneath.
