A thrown and altered bowl  from our own collection. The bowl has been combed on the outside using a wire brush at the leather hard stage. This  texture enhances the silicon carbide glaze giving it a diagonal direction as each facet is viewed in turn.  A maker's mark can be found between the turned footring. A wonderful example of his work.
