Audrey Richardson (b.1931- 2018) elliptical vessel. This piece has an iron bearing slip rubbed into the surface texture at either side. The curved edge at the top of the vessel is accentuated by the dark glazed gloss interior.  It has been fired to approximately 1250 degrees centigrade. This piece has an oval carved base with her personal mark sprigged in the centre.
