John Wheeldon

John is a Fellow of the Craft Potters Association and has exhibited his work throughout the UK and abroad for many years. He has made various styles over many years which has included working in stoneware, porcelain, earthenware and raku. He is currently working with earthenware and is exploring surface pattern with an emphasis on colour. A detailed article written about his black basalt with metal lustre pieces was published by John Gibson, Pottery Decoration Contemporary Approaches, A&C Black, London 1987, ISBN 0-7136-2805-7 pages 148-155.

John continues to push the development of his work by experimenting with a wide range of materials and ceramic processes. He is a Fellow member of The Craft Potters Association.
