Anna Silverton

Anna trained in London at Camberwell School of Art and went on to graduate with a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art. After completing her MA she lived in America teaching at Syracuse University. On her return to the UK she established a London workshop and her current studio is based at Sydenham, South London.

Anna is a member of The Craft Potters Association and her work is exhibited in leading outlets and galleries throughout the UK.

Anna works in porcelain making individual pieces of various sizes. Her work is decorated in subtle high-fired glazes which are predominantly white or a rich tenmoku. The quality of her throwing and turning is precise and very disciplined. This is particularly noticeable on the base and rim where the attention to detail matches the quality of the rest of each pot.
