This wheel thrown ginger jar is decorated with traditional high-fired copper red Far Eastern glaze.  Peter fires his work in a reduction gas fired kiln to 1280/1300 Centigrade.
His work is exquisitely thrown and glazed to a perfection that few crafts people can achieve. His technical and creative ability is outstanding although Peter remains incredibly modest about the quality of work he achieves. His work continues to sell to collectors throughout the UK and abroad.
The maker's mark is impressed at the base.
