A tall slender porcelain bottle with a trumpet flared neck and rim.  The throwing ribs have been left on the neck with the remaining parts of the bottle turned smooth. Mary has chosen to add a spirl blue glaze over the top of a mottled pink. This piece is very unusual as she tended to decorate with concentric banding rather than apply spirals. This is only one of three similar pieces that we have come across in over thirty years of selling her work. A maker's mark (m) is pressed into the clay near the base. Postage is FREE within the UK only. Please contact the gallery direct for all other destinations.
