Derek made this bottle in 1996. It is stamped with the makers mark DC and the code date between the turned foot ring underneath. The porcelain has been cut with seven twisting facets and the Tenmoku glaze breaks thinner on the cut edges producing a decorative enhancement to the piece. We have sold work by Derek since 1989 including having work in group shows and a two man exhibition in 1990 with the late Derek Emms. Derek Clarkson died in 2013. His work is held in high esteem and is represented in the Victoria and Albert collection of studio ceramics in London. Postage is free within the UK only.
