A classic David Leach teapot. This piece has been part of our own collection for a considerable time. It has probably never poured a cup of tea and it has taken us a while to decide if we want to part with it.  This piece has been glazed with a Tenmoku  over a hand cut fluted exterior. The glaze breaks thinner and lighter on the edge of each cut which creates a contrast against the depth of the rich glaze where it gathers thicker.
