This is a delightful porcelain tea bowl. It is decorated using a high fired celadon glaze over a fluted exterior. The glaze breaks thinner and therefore lighter on the edge of each cut which stands in contrast to the adjacent shadow where the glaze is thicker. There is a tiny firing blemish (exposed porcelain ) on the inside just below the rim which occurred during the firing. There is also a slight crazing of the glaze which is typical of other pieces we have sold over many years. David considered this to be an integral characteristic and decorative aspect of the glaze. There is a makers impressed mark DL on the underside of the bowl. Further details are available on request. 9 x 8 cm
