A stoneware slab dish on feet decorated with the Vine Leaf motif. A similar piece can be found in the V&A London ( see page 138 for a colour image Studio Pottery , Oliver Watson, PhaidonI SBN 07148 2948 X 1990). This piece probably dates to a similar date. There is a fine mesh of natural crazing with the clear glaze which is not a fault but is an integral part of this delightful piece.  Width 27.5cms x 27.5cms x Height 7.5cms.
