A thrown and altered stoneware vessel with a light silicon carbide glaze. A dark manganese/iron oxide matt slip has been applied to the interior achiving a contrast with the outside. The vessel is stamped with a maker's seal underneath which is surrounded by a carved geometric design. Spiral decoration to exterior.
